A little bit about me

Amy has been a storyteller for long as she can remember. In fact, she tried starting a school newspaper in 5th grade, but finding a writing staff proved difficult during recess. Amy’s formal introduction to video production occurred while attending St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI. While earning her degree, Amy started her first job as an assignment desk editor at a Green Bay newsroom, in the shadows of Lambeau Field. She worked her way up from there and spent more than 10 years in television production in Milwaukee, where she wrote and produced short and long-form stories ranging from business to breweries. When she wasn’t in the control room producing a newscast, Amy was working on public relations and marketing campaigns for local, national, and global businesses.

In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends out on the lake or exploring Milwaukee’s many beer gardens.

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO

I love the art of crafting a story from scratch. An old news director once told me everyone has a story and indeed they do. Finding that story and creating a compelling narrative with visuals you can’t ignore is why I do what I do. I’m grateful I get the opportunity to create memorable videos and stories that resonate at Plum Media every day.
