It’s the district of delicious food, groovy music and great people. We would know, we’ve spent our paychecks one too many times at various places across the Third Ward just to experience all our backyard has to offer. So when we were given the opportunity to help raise awareness for a development project that will contribute to further growth in our area, we didn’t hesitate to accept.
Enter One Catalano Square, a new 5-story multi-tenant office and retail building currently under construction in the heart of the Third Ward, just one block from Milwaukee's Skylight Theater. The building, which consists of ground floor retail and four floors of office space above, will offer unique design elements such as floor-to-ceiling glass and multiple rooftop terraces. The building’s developer, Irgens, and leasing agent, Colliers International, approached our crew at Plum for a short, but sweet social media video to attract prospective tenants.
“Colliers International and Irgens are great clients to work with because they really know what they want,” explains Plum producer Trevor Wright. “They came to us with specific ideas which we could then execute and elevate with our expertise.”
Trevor, along with Plum videographer Jason Klappa, were tasked with gathering b-roll footage that captured the excitement of working within the Third Ward. From the Milwaukee Public Market to the Summerfest grounds, several iconic locations were featured throughout the video.
“The Irgens and Colliers project was a celebration of everything that the Third Ward has to offer,” says Jason. “We used our DSLR prime lenses for stylized looking footage, as well as our handheld gimbal camera which tapped into what it feels like to actually walk around the Third Ward.”
Second Times the Charm
Colliers International and Irgens are certainly no stranger to videos that pack a Plum punch. Two years ago the real estate duo tasked our team with creating a video to promote their building at 833 E. Michigan. It ended up generating a lot of views which triggered their recent return to Plum.
